Project: „Step-by-step towards a better future“ #675
On October 2, 2017 TV-Rioni conducted a program about the project “Step-by-step towards a better future” (#675) about the project`s achieved results (for the first stage) goals and objectives. The participants were: Mary Gelashvili – the chairperson of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs, the project coordinator in Imereti, Natruli Nachkebia- the project assistant, Maya Kamushadze- social worker, Tamara Kalandadze- psychologist, Inga Maglaperidze- lawyer.
The implementation areas of the project , funded by the EU and the Austrian Development Agency, are: Gori (Shida Kartli), Imereti and Samegrelo. The project is jointly supported by the Women’s Association of IDPs “Consent” (the leading organization, its branches in Gori and Zugdidi), the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs (Imereti), two educational institutions: Public College “Iberia” (Imereti) and Shota Meskhia University (Samegrelo), Nicole Maria Bauer- Hilfswerk Austria International Regional Manager, project author and implementer in Georgia.

Project title: “Sustainable development of women, living in Western Georgia, through increasing their professional levels and personal skills“
On October 2, 2017 a TV program about the project “Sustainable development of women, living in Western Georgia, through increasing their professional levels and personal skills” (financed by Brot für die Welt – Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst “Bread for the World” – Germany) was broadcast live on TV channel „Rioni“ within the frame of a 3-year project. The whole program was devoted to the project implementation and achieved results. The program was attended by the project direct implementers: Mary Gelashvili – Project Director, the assistants: Anjela Chikhladze, Natruli Nachkebia, Inga Maglaperidze and Elena Kuparadze.
With the help of the program our society was informed about all the directions of the project implementation :
- Graduates “School for women” ;
- The needs of women living in Tsageri municipality in the high mountainous region;
- Increasing mentors activities ;
- The aspects of public relations and the legislative initiatives developed and presented by “Fund of Women Entrepreneurs”.

Initiative of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs
On February 3rd, 2017 the legislative initiative of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs on “income tax exemption of women with many children” (women who has 3 and more children) was considered on committee meeting of sector of economy and economic policy. The initiative was supported by the majority, and in the near future will be considered by Budget and Finance Committee of the Parliament.
Public broadcasting service of the first channel of Georgia prepared and issued in air a plot about the above-stated initiative.

On December 15, 2016 within the project – “Sustainable development of women in Western Georgia – development of professional and personal skills” was held a live broadcast at “Rioni TV” there where the staff of Fund of Women Entrepreneurs has acquainted society about the achieved results and plans of work for the future.
The director, assistants, mentors of the project have discussed the events held within a year which are directed to education and strengthening of women.

TV program “Dialogue” in TV “Rioni” -09.02.2016.
Within the activities of the project: “Gender Polities and EU Integration- Experience of Visegrad Countries” was held the TV Program in TV Company “Rioni”.
In program were discussed the project goals and tasks, planed and already implemented activities. Special accent was made on those outputs that are expected after the completion of the project.
Implementation of the Project is funded by the international Visegrad Fund.

28.11.2015 28.11.2015 Within the activities of the project: “Gender policies and EU integration- Experience of V4 for Eap Countries” in a broadcast of radio “Old City” was held the radio program, where project experts talked about the aims and activities of the project.
In the program guests were project experts: Elena Kuparadze and Nargiza Ardjevanidze.
The program was leaded by the journalist by the Lia Kharabadze.
Implementation of the Project is funded by the international Visegrad Fund.

27.11.2015 Within the activities of the project: “Gender policies and EU integration- Experience of V4 for Eap Countries” in a broadcast of radio “Rioni” was held the radio program “Dialogue”, where project experts talked about the aims and activities of the project.
In the program guests were project experts: Mery Gelashvili and Elena Kuparadze.
The program was leaded by the journalist by the Nana Robakidze.

“Women Entrepreneurs Fund “and successful women from western region
On November 26,2015, in Tbilisi, in Radio Free Euro studio FM 107.4 was held a meeting on the following theme:”Women’s business activity – in the regions of Georgia”.
The program was leaded by Mzia Paresishvili and Gocha Lezhava.
The representatives of Women Entrepreneurs Fund : Diana Kurashvili (Project assistant) and successful entrepreneur woman – Manana Modebadze took part in the program.
They talked about the implemented projects of previous years: the German Democratic Fund (EED) –funded three-year project :”Development of business activities in western Georgia”.D. Kurashvili -project assistant and successful woman entrepreneur –Manana Modebadze talked about funded workplaces and achieved success in the frame of the project. Mzia Paresishvili noted that, if woman is economically strong, she’ll be able to do everything”.

Radio Free Europe: Gender Stories and Visegrad Expierence
26.11.2015 Within the activities of the project: “Gender policies and EU integration- Experience of V4 for Eap Countries” in a broadcast of radio “Radio Free Europe” was held the radio program “Gender news”, where project experts talked about the aims and activities of the project.
In the program guests were project experts: Elena Kuparadze and Ekaterine Gamakharia.
The program was leaded by the journalist by the Mzia Paresashvili.

On 12 November, 2005 year in frame of project: “Gender Policies and EU Integration – Experience of V4 for Eap Countries” held first radio program in Kutaisi radio “Dzveli Kalaki” broadcast.
The guests of radio program were: project’s coordinator Elena Kuparadze and involved expert in a project – Maia Kuprava-Sharvashidze.
Project is funded by the international Visegrad Fund.
